In this new blog series, The LGC Diaries, employees will be sharing their LGC experience and how they got started with us. The premier article, penned by Jenene Rutherford who started in March 2021, talks about how the pandemic upended her career and how she found herself with LGC.
Opportunities for career growth are one of the most effective ways to engage and retain team members. In fact, “LinkedIn found that employees are nearly 3X more engaged when they see opportunities to learn on the job,” and sometimes value learning and growth over higher compensation.
When LGC was founded in 2003, we were operating solely in Indianapolis. Over the past 18 years, we’ve expanded to more than 35 cities across the country. Each local office is diverse and integral to the success of LGC. This series will look at our offices individually, highlighting what makes them unique.
For Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight strong, amazing women and their accomplishments that help make the world a better place.
At LGC, we’re motivated by tales of career development and success – especially when it involves our employees. In this series, we’ll be sharing stories from managers at LGC and how they’ve moved up the ladder. Hopefully you’ll read something that inspires you to join our team and create a story of your own.
