What we saw as one of the most pressing issues then (and still two years later) – product supply was low, shelves were empty at the stores, shipping was delayed, companies were shutting their doors. Why? The need was there more than ever, but there was not sufficient staff in place to meet the demands. Companies already shorthanded due to upper management cuts, workers out sick, long-term employees resigning due to lack of childcare, and the list goes on.
